The Galaxy in the Big Dipper

Description

Sky watchers in the Northern Hemisphere can easily pick out the distinctive shape of the Big Dipper. Hidden within this constellation is a galaxy that can’t be seen with the naked eye. This video shows the Big Dipper, and then zooms into Galaxy M108. The video was created with photo data from the SDSS project.
